Innovnano is looking to enhance its technology team through the addition of an experienced CERAMICIST to be based at its state-of-the-art European manufacturing and technology facility in Coimbra, Portugal. 
INNOVNANO develops and produces industrial-scale quantities of high performance nanostructured ceramic powders for diverse markets including aerospace, biomedical, structural wear resistant ceramics through to photovoltaics. 

Coimbra, a riverfront city in central Portugal and the country’s former capital, is home to a preserved medieval old town and the historic University of Coimbra. Built on the grounds of a former palace, the university is famed for its baroque library, the Biblioteca Joanina, and its 18th-century bell tower. In the city’s old town lies the 12th-century Romanesque cathedral Sé Velha. 

CERAMICIST (M/F)

Essential profile skills:
  • A good first degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Industrial or Tech-transfer laboratory) experience in pressing applications of ceramic powders
  • Good oral presentation skills
  • Understanding of the ceramic component production
  • Experience with ceramic materials characterization techniques
  • Expertise in powder processing techniques (milling, spray drying, etc)
  • Mature, independent, pro-active and team orientated
  • Enthusiastic working attitude
  • Ability to multitask and set and work to deadlines
Desirable profile skills:​
  • International experience
  • Management experience
  • Further degree in a ceramic material field
