Innovnano, represented by its Deputy Administrator André de Albuquerque,
was elected for the presidency of the Board of the Portuguese
Association of Chemical Companies (APEQ) for 2011-2012.
The new Board of APEQ has the following composition:
President: Innovnano, represented by Dr. André de
Albuquerque.
Vice-President: Solvay, represented by Eng. Jorge
Oliveira.
Governing staff: Quimitécnica.Com, represented by
Eng. José António Magalhães (Treasurer); Ar Líquido, represented by Eng.
Cristina. Ballester; Euroresinas, represented by Eng. Miguel Nogueira.
APEQ is a corporate association that governs the chemical
industry, having been established in July 1994. Its goal is to
contribute to the restructuration and
rationalization of corporate associations through the intervention and
collaboration with official national and foreign bodies. It also intends
to contribute to the creation of legislative measures regarding the
sector, with special emphasis on sustainable development and continuous
improvement of developments in health, safety and environment, either of
their facilities or of the products manufactured by them.
